Role Overview
We are seeking a Facility Technician to maintain and support building systems and infrastructure ensuring smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct ongoing maintenance and promptly address minor defects in building systems.
- Oversee and accompany external specialists and subcontractors working on technical building systems.
- Manage lighting by replacing bulbs as necessary across designated facilities.
- Perform plumbing repairs and replacements when required.
- Carry out basic electrical tasks, identifying situations requiring a professional electrician.
- Execute cosmetic fixes including wall plastering and painting.
- Undertake basic HVAC maintenance tasks such as filter replacement.
- Respond swiftly and effectively to emergency situations or urgent facility issues.
- Repair doors, windows, and other hardware components of buildings.
- Dismantle, install, and repair furniture as assigned.
- Transport equipment and goods when needed.
- Carry out tile work involving floor and wall ceramic tiles including preparation of waterproofing layers and cement-sand mortar, accurate cutting, installation, and replacement.
- Perform basic steelwork including cutting, drilling, polishing, treating, painting; welding skills are an advantage.
Qualifications and Skills
- Secondary or higher specialized education.
- Proficient in Georgian and basic written English.
- Minimum two years of experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of building systems.
- Strong sense of accountability and responsibility.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Computer literate with skills in MS Word and MS Excel.
