About the Role
Join Magna’s dynamic environment to contribute to cutting-edge automotive technology development. As part of the Mechatronics, Mirrors, and Lighting group, work with innovative vehicle access systems, advanced vision technologies, and automotive lighting solutions that drive the future of mobility.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure facility infrastructure, utilities, and building systems operate safely, reliably, and cost-effectively.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
- Manage and optimize systems such as HVAC, electrical distribution, compressed air, water and wastewater treatment, fire protection, and Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Coordinate maintenance work to support uninterrupted production processes.
- Monitor and analyze facility performance to identify areas for improved reliability and cost savings.
- Contribute to sustainability goals by supporting energy efficiency initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental, Quality Management, and IATF standards.
- Oversee external contractors and service providers, ensuring adherence to company policies and safety regulations.
- Keep detailed maintenance records, inspection reports, technical and compliance documentation.
- Participate in facility improvement projects, renovations, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Assist in annual maintenance planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Identify potential facility risks and implement corrective and preventive measures.
- Engage in safety audits, risk assessments, and environmental programs.
- Provide management with technical reports and recommendations regarding facility operations.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Energy, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Between 1 to 3 years of experience in Facility Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Utilities Management, or manufacturing environments.
- Proficient English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Teamwork-oriented with effective communication and collaboration.
- Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Understanding of facility utility systems, including electrical, HVAC, compressed air, and water systems.
- Experience applying preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance techniques.
- Knowledge of energy management and sustainability initiatives.
- Project management experience.
- Ability to conduct root cause analysis and technical troubleshooting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
