Role Overview
The Facility Manager - Technical will oversee daily technical facility functions and engineering maintenance at Tada, Andhra Pradesh. The role demands expertise in managing MEP systems and building infrastructure to ensure efficient operations and upkeep.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operation and maintenance of technical facilities and engineering systems.
- Lead and manage a team comprising Engineers, Technicians, and Operators.
- Ensure seamless functioning of MEP systems and facility infrastructure.
- Plan and supervise both preventive maintenance and urgent breakdown repairs.
- Handle Electrical, HVAC, DG, UPS, Fire & Safety, BMS, Plumbing systems, and other facility apparatus.
- Regularly assess equipment performance and initiate timely corrective actions.
- Liaise with vendors and contractors for maintenance and technical support services.
- Adhere to statutory regulations, safety protocols, and internal standard operating procedures.
- Prepare and maintain documentation including maintenance reports, checklists, AMC files, and other technical records.
- Manage inventory for spare parts and consumables, along with monitoring maintenance budgets.
- Engage in client communication and ensure resolution of technical issues within the agreed timeframes.
- Implement initiatives for energy saving, cost efficiency, and continuous operational improvements.
- Ensure round-the-clock facility operation and provide emergency support as necessary.
Required Skills
- Expertise in Technical Facility Management
- Experience with MEP Operations and Maintenance
- Hands-on knowledge of Electrical and HVAC systems maintenance
- Ability to manage preventive and breakdown maintenance activities
- Familiarity with BMS, DG sets, UPS systems
- Vendor and contractor coordination and management skills
- Strong team leadership and management capabilities
- Competency in client liaison and issue resolution
- Budgetary and cost control experience
- Knowledge of safety regulations and statutory compliance
- Energy management aptitude
Qualifications and Industry Experience
Applicants should hold a Diploma, B.E., or B.Tech degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related engineering field. Preferred backgrounds include Integrated Facility Management, commercial buildings, IT parks, manufacturing units, corporate facilities, hospitals, or hospitality sectors.
