Facility & Maintenance Manager

Role Objective

The Facility & Maintenance Manager is tasked with ensuring smooth and effective operations of the ASMO site by managing facility maintenance and administrative activities. This role leads a team composed of Facility & Maintenance Technicians and a Facility Admin Controller, partnering with various departments and ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Shape and implement the Department’s strategic plans in line with corporate objectives and short to mid-term goals.
• Develop annual business plans supporting financial and strategic targets within assigned responsibility areas.
• Monitor and report on Department KPIs to evaluate performance and suggest corrective measures.
• Manage all facets of facility maintenance, including infrastructure, equipment, and utilities, ensuring safe and reliable operations.
• Design and oversee preventative maintenance programs to maximize uptime and minimize interruptions.
• Coordinate with maintenance technicians for routine inspections, repairs, and upkeep activities.
• Supervise external vendors and contractors engaged for specialized maintenance services as needed.
• Ensure the facility meets all safety and environmental standards.
• Lead and mentor maintenance technicians, assigning tasks, overseeing workflows, and fostering team development through evaluations and training.
• Collaborate closely with the Facility Admin Controller on budgeting, procurement, and administrative records related to facility operations.
• Manage inventory for maintenance materials and equipment to optimize use and control expenses.
• Ensure timely documentation of maintenance work and expenditures.
• Work in partnership with production, logistics, and quality departments to ensure smooth facility functioning.
• Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and cost reductions within facility management.
• Provide performance reports on facility maintenance and administration to the Site Director.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution or equivalent relevant experience is mandatory.
• Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent is desirable.
• Preferred certifications include Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
• At least nine years' experience in facility maintenance or related fields, with a minimum of three years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Proven track record in facility maintenance and operational management.
