Overview

The role of Facilities Management Supervisor – Electromechanical involves overseeing technical personnel and managing the daily maintenance operations focused on electromechanical systems to guarantee their safe and efficient function within building infrastructures.

Key Duties

• Lead and manage technicians during routine maintenance tasks.
• Organize and supervise both preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Oversee electrical, mechanical, HVAC, air-conditioning, and cooling equipment performance and maintenance.
• Assign tasks and continually evaluate the effectiveness and productivity of the technical team.
• Detect technical problems promptly and arrange for necessary repairs or corrective interventions.
• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and occupational health standards.
• Collaborate with Facilities Engineers and Managers to coordinate activities.
• Conduct assessments of individual staff and overall team performance.

Job Requirements

• A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred; alternatively, a relevant technical qualification is acceptable.
• Applicants with technical qualifications must have a minimum of 10 years of total relevant work experience.
• At least 3 years of experience working within educational environments such as schools and kindergartens.
• Comprehensive technical expertise in managing electrical, mechanical, HVAC, air-conditioning, and cooling systems.
• Proven experience in supervising projects of comparable scale.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with effective communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools is essential.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English is mandatory for the position.
