Job description
Job Overview
The Facilities Cleaner position is responsible for ensuring exceptional cleanliness across all designated areas of the facility including restrooms, lobbies, gaming floors, hallways, and other assigned locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean floors, windows, walls, stairs, elevators, and other requested areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and methods.
- Perform vacuuming of all floor surfaces.
- Clean, disinfect, and replenish restrooms.
- Mop floors surrounding bars, restrooms, and entryways.
- Remove trash and debris from floors and trash receptacles, disposing into designated containers.
- Organize tasks efficiently and complete duties promptly.
- Proactively assist guests beyond basic cleaning duties, demonstrating ownership and initiative.
- Accept feedback and guidance from supervisors constructively.
Qualifications and Skills
- Ability to stand and walk extensively during shifts.
- Capable of lifting objects overhead or at arm's length up to 20 pounds, and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to bend, push or pull items weighing up to 50 pounds, and climb ladders up to 6 feet safely.
- Proficiency in operating cleaning equipment including vacuum cleaners, carpet extractors, walk-behind scrubbers, wet/dry vacuums, back-pack vacuums, ladders, and hand tools.
- Knowledge and safe use of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment.
Additional Requirements
- Compliance with all risk and safety policies.
- Possession and maintenance of all required certifications.
- Completion of mandatory company training sessions.
- Capability to work in environments that permit smoking and pets.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
