About the Role
This opportunity allows you to join PwC Australia's extensive team of problem solvers as an External Auditor. You will contribute significantly by helping clients improve their financial results and operational efficiency, understanding the specific commercial challenges they face, and providing a broad range of audit and related services.
Responsibilities
- Conducting external audits, reviewing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Identifying, analyzing, and resolving intricate business challenges through effective strategies.
- Working collaboratively within teams to foster innovation and maintain high standards.
- Upholding integrity and ethical practices, while building trustworthy relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing complete audits from start to finish and delivering statutory reports for large private or publicly listed companies.
- Strong teamwork capabilities with the ability to influence audit strategies and methodologies alongside cross-functional peers.
- Extensive expertise in internal control systems, including assessment, design, and documentation of control environments.
- Experience coaching and mentoring junior team members and nurturing constructive internal relationships.

Additional Information
The minimum salary for a Senior Associate in this position is AUD 89,000 including superannuation, with salaries exceeding this figure for higher roles according to the relevant pay bands.
