About the Role
Pillar Global Trading QFZ LLC, headquartered in Doha, Qatar, is seeking an experienced Export Manager to spearhead business development, negotiate international contracts, and oversee export logistics. This position merges commercial growth responsibilities with operational management, ranging from identifying new opportunities to ensuring delivery success.
Primary Duties
- Expand business by identifying and securing new customers, entering untapped international markets, cultivating enduring relationships with buyers and distributors, and developing a robust sales pipeline to convert leads into profitable deals.
- Lead contract negotiations involving pricing, payment conditions, delivery arrangements, and agreements with customers, suppliers, and logistics partners, ensuring profitability and mitigating commercial risks.
- Manage export logistics processes including order confirmation, freight management, shipping documentation, customs clearance, and cargo insurance. Oversee cost control, delivery timelines, and resolve shipment-related issues with stakeholders.
Candidate Profile
- A minimum of five years' experience in export management, international trade, or business development related to exports.
- Demonstrated capability in acquiring customers, penetrating new markets, and concluding international sales successfully.
- Strong negotiation aptitude complemented by sound commercial insight.
- Solid understanding of international logistics, including Incoterms, export compliance documentation, and global payment procedures such as letters of credit.
- Fluency in English and Arabic, both spoken and written; proficiency in French is a notable asset.
- Exceptional organizational skills, self-motivation, and capacity to independently manage the entire commercial cycle.
- Experience within building materials, industrial raw materials, or commodity trading sectors is advantageous.
