Export Documentation Executive

About the Role

Jaipur Rugs seeks a meticulous and proactive professional to fill the position of Export Documentation Executive within their Export and International Logistics division located in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepare and oversee all export-related documents, including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Shipping Bills, Certificates of Origin, and Bill of Lading/Air Waybill.
• Collaborate effectively with freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping companies, and transport service providers.
• Ensure that all export documentation is submitted promptly and with accuracy.
• Liaise regularly with Sales, Warehouse, Finance, Production, and Logistics departments to facilitate smooth operations.
• Handle documentation requirements related to international shipments, including adherence to Incoterms and Letters of Credit criteria.
• Maintain shipment tracking and accurate export records, including Management Information Systems (MIS).
• Assist with customs clearance procedures and resolve any discrepancies in documentation.

Candidate Profile

• Possesses a graduate degree in Commerce, International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related disciplines.
• Has 1 to 3 years of professional experience in export documentation or international logistics.
• Familiar with export regulations, shipping paperwork, Incoterms, and customs clearance processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office suite.
• Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail coupled with strong communication, coordination, and follow-up abilities.
• Experience within export sectors such as carpets, rugs, home textiles, handicrafts, or similar products is considered advantageous.
