Job description
Overview
Join DSV, a global leader in transport and logistics, as an Export Air Freight Forwarder based in Auckland. This role centers on managing and overseeing air export operations, ensuring smooth and efficient supply chain processes while maintaining exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with a team of export specialists to deliver accurate, high-quality services to clients.
- Oversee the entire export workflow from initial customer engagement through to shipment departure, ensuring compliance with management directives, customer instructions, legal requirements, and company performance indicators.
- Forge and sustain strong working relationships with clients, service providers, and international colleagues.
- Address and resolve export-related issues by coordinating with various stakeholders and team members.
- Promptly and accurately enter data into the Cargowise One system.
- Calculate and handle financial details, including invoicing costs related to export files.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts in export processes.
- Support the Senior Team Lead and Department Manager with daily operations and additional assigned projects or tasks.
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience and solid industry knowledge in air export operations.
- Proficiency with Cargowise One software and practical experience using it.
- Competence in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook and Excel.
