Key Responsibilities

• Create, test, deploy, and support high-quality software that serves a global and diverse audience.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven professional background as a software engineer delivering production-grade applications.
• Experience across multiple programming languages and paradigms, with particular emphasis on developing proficiency in PHP and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with building and maintaining software systems at scale, including backend development, optimizing performance, and managing infrastructure complexity.
• Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity in understanding root causes of technical issues.
• Ability to think across abstraction layers, appreciating architectural and operational impacts.
• Attention to software quality, maintainability, and performance metrics.
• Pragmatic decision-making concerning technical trade-offs and abstraction benefits and costs.
