About the Role

This role involves rotating monthly shifts, with specific shift schedules provided upon interview.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in all facets of wafer production, encompassing manufacturing operations, equipment handling, and process duties.
• Operate manufacturing equipment ensuring safety standards, quality, production targets, and cost efficiencies are met.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on regulated manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment and process malfunctions, conduct repairs, and support initiatives to reduce defects.
• Utilize technical documents such as manuals, specifications, schematics, and verbal instructions to complete tasks.
• Apply methodical problem-solving approaches using relevant instruments and testing devices to tackle production and equipment issues.
• Assist with installation, repair, operation, and enhancement of manufacturing machinery performance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to address technical challenges and improve equipment dependability.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and operational enhancements in assigned areas.
• Champion an inclusive, diverse, accountable team culture focused on ongoing development.
• Be willing to travel for business assignments as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• A technical qualification in Science or Engineering (NFQ Level 6, 7, or 8) or a recognized trade qualification in Electrical, Plumbing, or Instrumentation.
• Minimum of 4 years experience in technical roles within semiconductor, pharmaceutical, biomedical, or medical device manufacturing environments.
• At least 4 years of hands-on experience performing preventative and corrective maintenance in a regulated setting.
• 4+ years experience in electronics, troubleshooting, installation, repair, and operation of equipment in regulated environments.

• Familiarity with process control systems and schematic-based troubleshooting.
• Experience promoting continuous improvement and lean manufacturing practices, including precision maintenance and smart workplace organization.
• Skills in maintaining vacuum systems, precision mechanical devices, or RF systems.

Additional Information

The position is on-site in Leixlip, Ireland. Compensation ranges from €39,800 to €62,200 annually, depending on experience, education, skills, and includes potential additional pay components such as shift differentials and benefits.
