Role Overview

The DigiGEN (Digital Generation) initiative is a strategic project focused on enhancing Generation operations through advanced data and digital tool integration. Meridian is seeking two Experience Designers for two-year fixed-term contracts to join this program. The role involves applying Service Design, Business Analysis, and human-centered design techniques to improve processes, assets, and outcomes in the Generation division.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional DigiGEN squads to understand and analyze user needs.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancement in services and operational processes.
  • Define clear user and business requirements based on comprehensive discovery activities.
  • Design and deliver end-to-end services that create value for both users and the organization.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven expertise in Human-Centered Design, Service Design, Customer Experience (CX), User Experience (UX), Business Analysis, Process Improvement, or similar fields.
  • Familiarity with service design principles, systems thinking, journey mapping, and service blueprinting to connect opportunities with business outcomes.
  • Experience in leading design discovery within complex systems, collaborating to align user, operational, and business priorities.
  • Strong facilitation, collaboration, stakeholder management, communication, and storytelling abilities.
  • Comfort working within Agile delivery frameworks and alongside multidisciplinary teams.
