Executive/Senior Engineer - 22kV Operations & Maintenance

About the Role

This position involves leading and managing a team responsible for maintenance and operations of electrical network equipment. Key duties include planning and executing maintenance for switchgear, transformers, and cables up to 22kV, as well as handling fault repairs and condition monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise a team performing maintenance on network equipment, including cable and low voltage systems, and manage fault repairs.
• Design and oversee predictive and preventive maintenance schedules for electrical components, adhering to budget and timeline requirements.
• Develop and update work procedures and best practices to ensure operational efficiency.
• Lead or participate in committees, task forces, or study teams related to network operations.
• Address and resolve customer concerns and feedback promptly.
• Conduct high voltage switching tasks, load transfers, and safely isolate high voltage equipment and cables.
• Manage contractors and site activities to ensure compliance and safety.
• Be on standby duty during network incidents outside regular hours and at major events such as National Day Parade, National Day Rally, and Formula 1.
• Develop contingency plans to manage network incidents effectively.
• Carry out any additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• A degree in Electrical Engineering from an institution recognized by the Professional Engineers Board Singapore.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Team-oriented mindset with positivity and capability to meet tight deadlines.
