Executive - Specifications

Position Overview

This role is based in Cuttack, Odisha and focuses on sales and marketing activities related to specifications for Asian Paints' products across various segments.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) to obtain approvals and achieve value sales targets for product categories such as Waterproofing, Admixtures, Repair, Special Repair, and Flooring.
• Engage with each PSU individually to secure Asian Paints’ inclusion in specifications and technical Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for new projects, expansions, and maintenance & repair (M&R) needs.
• Coordinate with respective regional teams and sales departments to ensure planned sales targets are met across regions.
• Work alongside external consultants and internal technical teams of PSUs to develop product specifications for various Asian Paints segments.
• Handle complaint resolution effectively, provide product training to customers, and stay updated with new application technologies; capable of preparing method statements and BOQs for various sites.
• Possess an understanding of building and material standards, specifically IS Codes, and their relevance to each PSU.
• Apply construction knowledge, including familiarity with construction materials, methodologies, and processes.
• Conduct field visits and prepare detailed reports on project feasibility and progress.

Educational Qualifications

Degree in Civil Engineering (B.Tech/B.E.) or Civil Engineering Diploma.
