Job description
Position Objective
- Oversee the appraisal process of all new hires within their initial five-month probationary period, including self-assessments and endorsement from reporting managers on appraisal forms.
- Ensure preparation and distribution of Job Scorecards to define roles, responsibilities, and expectations clearly.
- Provide support during the induction process for new employees.
- Manage follow-up communication via calls and emails with new employees and implement a Buddy Program to aid their integration.
Key Responsibilities: Probation and Confirmation of New Employees
- Monitor employees monthly relative to their joining dates and probation completion.
- Create and update a list tracking probation confirmation status.
- Ensure approved salary increments, following probation, take effect from the employee’s sixth month.
- Coordinate with line managers to have employees complete self-appraisals and facilitate appraisal meetings between employees and their reporting managers.
Job Scorecards
- Confirm all employees’ job descriptions align with their positions by preparing Job Scorecards that specify roles, responsibilities, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Induction Process
- Assist in onboarding new employees by managing joining formalities such as biometric registration, bank account documentation, employment contracts, and location arrangements.
Buddy Program
- Conduct follow-up calls and emails with new employees during their first six months to support their adjustment.
- Implement a Buddy Program to provide guidance for new hires within their initial three months in the company.
