Job description
Position Overview
An established organization in Doha, Qatar, seeks a senior-level executive to direct investor engagement strategies, relationship management, service excellence efforts, and retention initiatives. The successful candidate will be a seasoned corporate banking professional with a profound understanding of the local market and a broad network that includes major corporations, financial institutions, family offices, and public-sector entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead strategies focused on investor relationships, engagement, retention, and delivering exceptional service.
- Serve as the main relationship manager and key escalation contact for strategic investors and significant accounts.
- Forge trusted partnerships with investors, banking allies, large corporations, family offices, and institutional stakeholders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to address investor needs promptly, enhancing the overall investor experience.
- Leverage investor insights and relationship data to discover areas for service improvement and expanding opportunities.
- Implement frameworks for account governance, monitor satisfaction, retention, and manage escalation processes.
- Represent the organization at investor meetings, leadership forums, and various stakeholder gatherings.
- Guide, mentor, and develop teams involved in relationship management and investor services.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Preference for Qatari candidates in line with workforce planning and relevant criteria.
- Senior corporate banking professional background, such as Head of Corporate Banking, Corporate Banking Director, Executive Director, or similar leadership roles.
- Extensive experience handling significant corporate or institutional client relationships.
- Well-connected within the local business ecosystem with credibility among CEOs, CFOs, family offices, and decision-makers.
- Leadership style centered on client satisfaction with a proven ability to enhance service quality and retention.
- Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline; advanced degrees advantageous.
- Typically over 15 years in banking or corporate relationship roles, with leadership responsibilities overseeing major client portfolios.
- Preferred executive presence, sound decision-making, and fluency in Arabic and English communication.
