Role Overview
This Executive Director position is a vital member of the executive leadership team, tasked with crafting the organization's people strategy to drive sustainable business growth, organizational resilience, and competitive edge. The role transcends typical HR functions by influencing culture, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, and future talent readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and co-create enterprise-wide people and capability strategies aligned with the business's multi-year growth plans and digital transformation initiatives.
- Anticipate future workforce demands and evolve internal skills proactively.
- Define, embed, and monitor a high-performance and values-driven culture while upholding organizational ethics and leadership standards.
- Design leadership structures and programs fostering strong succession pipelines.
- Lead organizational design, clarity in roles, decision-making frameworks, and people management during transformations such as mergers, restructuring, or rapid expansions.
- Implement talent philosophies encompassing development, internal mobility, and retention strategies, with data-backed talent reviews and leadership assessments.
- Create performance management, compensation, and reward systems aligned with business objectives and market competitiveness, collaborating closely with executive compensation committees.
- Enhance employee experience throughout their lifecycle, utilizing analytics to boost engagement, retention, and productivity, and champion diversity, equity, inclusion, and wellness at scale.
- Ensure adherence to governance, regulatory compliance, ethical labor standards, and proactively manage workforce-related risks and reputation.
- Represent the company externally on matters related to people, culture, and employer branding.
Leadership Expectations
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Board, providing insight and guidance.
- Demonstrate strong business acumen and financial literacy.
- Balance visionary strategy with decisive operational execution.
- Exemplify leadership characterized by courage, empathy, and integrity.
Qualifications
- MBA or PGDM specialization in Human Resources or equivalent advanced education.
- Extensive professional background spanning over 25 years, preferably within large consulting firms, Global Capability Centers, or IT service organizations.
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to large-scale organizational transformations, growth phases, or turnaround scenarios is advantageous.
