About the Role
The Signet Collection is seeking an accomplished Executive Assistant to provide dedicated support to the Managing Partner and his family/business ventures across The Signet Collection and Ross & Ross. This position involves managing complex schedules, coordinating communication, and handling a variety of administrative tasks that keep the business running smoothly.
Our business crafts unique hotel experiences full of character and charm, requiring a highly organized and proactive individual to manage the intricacies of executive administration and contribute to our legacy of excellence. You'll also support Ross & Ross in their efforts overseeing traditional country house construction and heritage property restorations.
This role is based at our central office near Newbury, England, and demands full-time onsite presence, although occasional travel may be necessary. The office offers free parking facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a highly dynamic and detailed diary with precision to optimize scheduling.
- Arranging comprehensive travel plans ahead of schedule to ensure seamless logistics.
- Preparing and formatting board papers, presentations, and reports that enhance communication and professionalism.
- Efficiently managing email correspondence, prioritizing tasks, and tracking deadlines.
- Assisting in organizing corporate events that employees and partners anticipate and enjoy.
- Building and maintaining strong working rapports with colleagues, external suppliers, and visiting guests.
- Providing thoughtful reminders to senior leadership, such as encouraging breaks or meals.
Candidate Profile
- Technologically adept with a passion for administration and process improvement.
- Proven experience in administrative roles involving multiple digital tools and platforms.
- Confident organizer capable of managing stakeholders at all levels in a collaborative environment.
- Exceptionally sharp organizational skills with the ability to adapt in a fast-moving business setting.
- Highly discreet, trustworthy, and skilled in professional written and verbal communication.
- Capable of multitasking and prioritizing under pressure without losing focus on critical matters.
- Possesses a good sense of humor and remains calm amid changing plans.
- Previous experience supporting senior executives is preferred; however, attitude and approachability are paramount.
