Position Overview

The role of Civil Execution Engineer is pivotal in managing daily construction operations on-site. The engineer will lead efforts to ensure completion of civil works within stipulated timelines, quality benchmarks, and budget parameters, emphasizing effective site supervision, contractor coordination, quality control, and technical interpretation of drawings.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee and direct civil execution works such as RCC construction, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, and finishing on-site.
  • Verify that all construction activities strictly follow approved architectural and structural blueprints along with relevant IS codes.
  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports comparing actual progress with master schedules.
  • Monitor project timelines closely and initiate corrective actions for any schedule slippages.
  • Manage subcontractors, labor forces, and site machinery to achieve maximum productivity every day.
  • Address technical site questions, resolve conflicts, and remove bottlenecks efficiently.
  • Perform quality assurance checks including reinforcement inspection, concrete slump tests, cube sampling prior to concrete pouring.
  • Enforce rigorous adherence to safety protocols, personal protective equipment usage, and environmental health standards at the site.
  • Maintain accurate tracking of construction materials such as steel, cement, and aggregates, ensuring no stock shortages or excesses.
  • Execute periodic material reconciliations aimed at minimizing waste and optimizing costs.
  • Coordinate with clients, structural consultants, MEP engineers, and architects to clarify requests for information (RFIs) and maintain seamless communication.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech).
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in construction, real estate, infrastructure, or EPC sectors.
  • Strong technical knowledge in RCC construction, formwork, concrete technology, and finishing techniques.
  • Ability to interpret complex structural, architectural, and MEP drawings.
  • Familiarity with industry software such as AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Project, or Primavera.
  • Excellent leadership skills and effective communication to manage labor and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
