About the Opportunity
This role is based at Fortescue's Eliwana mine located on the traditional lands of the Puutu Kunti Kurrama people. The position operates on FIFO rosters, either 2 weeks on/1 week off or 2 weeks on/2 weeks off, departing from Perth or Busselton. We are looking for skilled operators experienced with Excavators, Dozers, and Loaders to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently operate mobile equipment including D10T Dozer, 854 Wheel Dozer, 18/24M Grader, 992 Wheel Loader, Liebherr 9400, and CAT6040 excavators.
- Maintain equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Enhance process efficiency through continual improvements.
- Exemplify Fortescue values through daily conduct.
- Adhere strictly to Zero Harm safety principles and uphold environmental and heritage standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- Expertise in operating one or more of the specified mobile equipment within the mining sector.
- Proven track record of safety-conscious operation and strong communication skills.
- Possession of a valid driver's licence; HR licence preferred.
