Role Overview

The Corporate Technology Support unit at Visa is evolving to offer a unified, service-centered operational support for end users. The Audio-Visual (AV) and Event Operations Analyst will be instrumental in supporting AV operations, live streaming, video production, and event management across Visa. Collaborating closely with senior specialists and leads, this role ensures that events, meetings, broadcasts, and AV-enabled experiences happen seamlessly and to a high standard.

This position is hands-on and customer-facing, demanding technical adaptability, meticulous organization, attention to detail, and the capacity to perform calmly in a fast-paced atmosphere. The successful candidate will manage logistics, provide onsite assistance, troubleshoot AV challenges in real time, and help improve AV and event operational processes continuously.

Key Responsibilities

  • Setup, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot AV, conferencing, streaming, and production equipment for various meetings, events, broadcasts, and hybrid experiences.
  • Support live streaming and video production efforts to guarantee smooth, dependable, and high-caliber event executions.
  • Conduct pre-event technical inspections, risk evaluations, and equipment readiness checks to reduce disruptions during live events.
  • Participate in creating event plans, timelines, checklists, run-of-show documents, budgets, and prepare post-event performance reports.
  • Manage event logistics including vendor coordination, venue preparation, equipment setup, transportation, seating arrangements, lighting and AV needs, permits, licenses, and necessary documentation.
  • Support site visits, venue assessments, event setups, live execution, and breakdowns to ensure all facets adhere strictly to plans.
  • Deliver professional and efficient onsite technical and operational support to stakeholders, presenters, vendors, and participants.
  • Maintain consistent communication with internal teams, vendors, venues, and stakeholders to confirm requirements, manage risks, resolve issues, and ensure event alignment.
  • Offer exceptional customer service to create a seamless experience across all AV and event-related interactions.
  • Collect feedback, identify insights, and contribute to ongoing improvements in AV operations, event procedures, documentation, playbooks, and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Communications, Media Production, or related disciplines.
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in AV operations and event support roles.
  • Proven success in supporting events and delivering quality outcomes.
  • Experience with live streaming and video production is desirable.
  • Hands-on proficiency in setting up, operating, and troubleshooting AV equipment such as cameras, microphones, lighting, projectors, displays, and related technologies.
  • Familiarity with video conferencing and live streaming platforms including Zoom, Microsoft Teams, YouTube Live, Facebook Live, Twitch, or equivalents.
  • Knowledge of media and streaming standards like H.264, H.265, AAC, Dolby Digital, RTMP, HLS, DASH, HD, Full HD, and 4K formats.
  • Strong organizational abilities, multitasking skills, and effective problem solving under live event conditions.
  • Capable of working professionally under pressure, managing urgent tasks, and adjusting to dynamic event requirements.
  • Experience liaising with vendors, venues, internal teams, and stakeholders to facilitate event logistics and execution.
