Role Overview

We are searching for a seasoned Estimator to contribute to residential site development projects within our expanding civil construction division. This role entails preparing precise cost estimates, aiding pre-construction processes, and closely collaborating with management to deliver competitive and high-quality bids.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed and accurate estimates for residential civil site development projects
• Support pre-construction operations through cost analysis and bid preparation
• Collaborate with senior leadership to craft competitive bids that meet quality standards
• Engage with subcontractors and vendors to gather pricing and negotiate terms
• Manage multiple simultaneous bids ensuring deadlines are met in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications and Skills

• A minimum of five years’ experience in estimating within civil construction, specifically residential site development
• Proven experience with projects ranging from $5 million to $50 million in value
• Strong understanding of sitework components such as erosion control, clearing, grading, utilities, and paving
• Proficiency with AGTEK software is highly desirable
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications accurately
• Solid analytical capabilities paired with high attention to detail
• Effective communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused setting
