Role Overview and Responsibilities

• Examine and thoroughly understand all bid documents and evaluate associated risks
• Develop comprehensive bid packages and compare multiple subcontractor and supplier bids competitively
• Collaborate with project management teams and other relevant parties to verify accuracy of estimates
• Manage the buyout process including awarding contracts to subcontractors and overseeing contract documentation

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years experience in estimating commercial construction projects
• Familiarity with both lump sum and negotiated type contracts preferred
