Job description
About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Estimator with expertise in HVAC and facilities management sectors to join a dynamic and expanding service team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional ready to immediately take charge as the main contact for all estimating and quotation tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison for all quotation and estimate related communications.
- Analyze engineers' reports thoroughly to produce precise cost estimates.
- Prepare detailed quotations for both scheduled maintenance and reactive work assignments.
- Provide procurement support for service team operations.
- Assist in the preparation and pricing of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tender documentation.
- Ensure all works comply with the required industry standards and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
- Strong foundational knowledge of HVAC systems.
- Familiarity and proficiency with SFG20 standards and compliance requirements.
- Ability to accurately interpret and evaluate engineers' reports.
- Experience with procurement processes for service-related projects.
- Proven skills in preparing and pricing tender packs for PPM contracts.
- Exceptional organizational aptitude with meticulous attention to detail.
Compensation and Opportunities
- Competitive salary range from £28,000 to £36,000, dependent upon experience.
