About the Company

Design and Build Recruitment is looking for Estimators to become part of a dedicated team that prioritizes quality over volume. The position is based with a Melbourne CBD client specializing in medium density and volume residential construction projects.

Role Overview

• Developing sales estimates and managing post-contract variations efficiently.
• Supporting the sales team by preparing accurate quotations and pricing.
• Ensuring timely and precise completion of estimating tasks.
• Reviewing documentation to confirm compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Preparing and handling project estimate administration, ensuring accuracy and punctuality.
• Conducting take-offs and compiling a detailed Bill of Quantities.
• Coordinating with suppliers to acquire quotations and initiate purchase orders.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• At least two years of experience in estimating within residential or volume building sectors.
• Proficiency with Databuild estimating software is highly advantageous.
• Updated knowledge of Australian Standards, bylaws, and building regulations.
• Experienced in both production and sales estimating.
