Estimator - Flat Roofing

Role Overview

This position is for an Estimator specializing in flat roofing projects, focusing on industrial and commercial applications. The successful candidate will prepare comprehensive cost assessments and pricing strategies for flat roofing and related construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead estimation activities promoting various industrial and commercial roofing projects.
• Perform detailed take-offs to ensure precise project evaluations.
• Develop thorough and accurate cost estimates and pricing for flat roofing and construction assignments.
• Assist in procuring and analyzing quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Participate in contract review meetings alongside the Contracts Department for confirmed projects.
• Effectively handle multiple deadlines while upholding high standards of accuracy, organization, and quality.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven experience working as an Estimator in the roofing industry.
• Preferably experienced in flat roofing estimation and systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• A strong, reliable character, willing to support the team as needed.
• Proficiency with IT tools and software relevant to the role.

Additional Information

Location: Bedfordshire, United Kingdom
Salary Range: 35,000 - 38,000 per annum plus bonus
