Job description
Overview
Harjai Technologies is recruiting for the role of Senior Estimation Engineer based in the United Arab Emirates, specializing in civil infrastructure projects focused on wet utilities.
Key Responsibilities and Expertise
- Lead cost estimation and tender preparation for infrastructure projects including drainage, sewerage, and potable water pipelines.
- Oversee vendor and subcontractor evaluations to ensure suitable project collaborations.
- Prepare and analyze Bills of Quantities (BOQ), determine cost estimates, and conduct rate analysis for project profitability.
- Ensure compliance with UAE authority standards, local specifications, and project requirements.
Experience and Knowledge Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years overall professional experience in estimation related to civil infrastructure.
- At least 1 year of recent experience working within the UAE infrastructure estimation sector.
- In-depth knowledge of wet utilities projects such as drainage, sewerage systems, and potable water distribution works.
- Familiarity with standards and requirements of Dubai Municipality (DM), Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), and Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is desirable.
