Job description
Role Overview
The Technical Coordinator for ERP, IoT, and related software modules acts as a key on-site liaison between the mushroom farm operations and the development team. The incumbent ensures seamless ERP system functionality, spearheads integration of IoT sensors for monitoring production conditions, and collaborates closely with the farm owner on other software modules.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the communication link between farm staff and remote software developers, converting operational requirements into precise technical specifications.
- Oversee the roll-out and maintenance of ERP platforms across both web (developed in React.js) and mobile (React Native) environments.
- Lead the selection and integration of IoT solutions, particularly monitoring devices like temperature and humidity sensors.
- Diagnose and resolve on-site hardware and network challenges.
- Manage the proof-of-concept phases, gather and incorporate user feedback, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Establish system processes and workflows for supporting value-added product lines such as the Canning Unit, Spawn Lab, SMS Fertiliser, and Bailing Plant, integrating these into the ERP system.
- Ensure the ERP supports batch tracking and inventory management tailored to these diverse operational units' workflows.
