Sales Assistant

Role Overview

The Sales Assistant will provide vital support to the Sales Head by managing market coordination, processing orders, communicating with dealers, and handling sales documentation. This role also includes local dispatch follow-up and assisting with payment collection efforts.

Primary Responsibilities

• Process incoming orders from dealers by preparing delivery challans and coordinating with packing and dispatch teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain consistent communication with dealers to update orders, gather feedback on product quality, and send payment reminders.
• Keep accurate sales records including registers, invoice copies, delivery confirmations, and dealer files.
• Accompany the Sales Head on local market visits to monitor pricing strategies, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
• Coordinate with the transport team to verify correct quantities and product grades are loaded as per order specifications.
• Support the Payments Collection Officer by following up with dealers on overdue payments to facilitate timely collections.
• Provide daily reports to the Sales Head regarding dispatches, dealer sales activity, and pending orders.
• Assist in preparing daily sales summaries and detailed dealer-wise collection status reports for management information system (MIS).
