Equipment Operator

Role Overview

The Equipment Operator is tasked with operating Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and facilitating aircraft turnaround processes to maintain safe and effective ramp operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate various Ground Service Equipment as trained and assigned.
• Inspect cargo holds and surrounding areas for any unusual conditions, including missing or damaged parts and unidentified objects.
• Perform basic checks on GSE to confirm machinery is in good working order and adhere strictly to standard operating procedures for safety.
• Follow all UAE laws and regulations, along with Velora Aviation and customer airline policies concerning quality, safety, security, operational standards, and handling of special products.
• Maintain safe practices in operations and report any safety, security, service incidents, hazards, errors, or near misses using established reporting systems.
• Ensure full compliance with operational procedures at all times, including correct use of handheld communication devices.
• Assist in baggage and cargo loading and unloading activities.
• Use headsets to coordinate with flight crew and ground staff during pushback processes, tow aircraft and ground equipment, and execute aircraft pushback procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of a valid UAE Driver’s License.
• Minimum of one year experience operating equipment in a similar role.
