About the Role

Bromsgrove and Redditch Councils are offering positions within their Environmental Services Place teams, which play a critical and prominent role in supporting the community of Bromsgrove District. We invite candidates ready to deliver prompt, efficient, and high-quality environmental services to apply.

Key Responsibilities and Working Conditions

• Operate within the Place Teams based in Bromsgrove, conducting duties throughout the town and surrounding district.
• Execute tasks independently in all weather conditions, ensuring compliance with job specifications.
• Maintain full UK driving license and physical fitness appropriate for the role.
• Work a 37-hour week with rotating 4- or 5-day patterns across any seven days per week.
• Comply with special work schedules during bank holidays and the Christmas period as may be required.

Additional Information

The salary range for this position is Grade 3, spanning from £25,583 to £27,254 annually (Spinal Column points 5 to 9). The application deadline is midnight on 16 September 2026. Interview arrangements will be coordinated by the Environmental Services Management Team.
