Opportunity Overview
TECT, a firm specializing in environmental consulting, is inviting qualified environmental engineers to join their team based in Doha, Qatar. The recruitment covers two levels: Senior Environmental Engineer and Environmental Engineer, each requiring relevant education and experience related especially to PWA projects.
Position Details and Requirements
For the Senior Environmental Engineer role, candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a similar field and have at least 15 years of experience, including extensive work with PWA projects. Applicants should have proven expertise in managing environmental consulting assignments, leading Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), environmental permitting, monitoring, and developing Environmental Management Plans (EMPs), besides preparing monthly environmental reports. Thorough understanding of EIA standards, permitting, and international environmental regulations, coupled with excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder engagement abilities, is essential.
The Environmental Engineer position requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably with involvement in PWA projects. Experience should cover environmental consulting, monitoring, permitting processes, EIA studies, and the preparation of EMPs and monthly environmental reports. Candidates should demonstrate solid knowledge of environmental laws, permit requirements, and international benchmarks, along with good communication and report writing skills.
