Job description
Role Overview
This position is designed for an Entry-Level Data Analyst tasked with gathering, organizing, and interpreting data to inform business strategies and improve operations. The analyst will engage with diverse datasets to detect trends, produce comprehensive reports, and offer insights that assist various teams in making well-informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Aggregate, clean, and structure data sourced from various platforms
- Examine data sets to uncover patterns and extract business-critical information
- Generate reports, dashboards, and visual data displays
- Track performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics
- Ensure data accuracy and uphold standards of data quality
- Contribute to ongoing business reporting and analytical initiatives
- Document analysis procedures and results clearly
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders and technical teams to aid decision-making
- Recognize and propose enhancements to reporting workflows and data management
- Engage in learning and applying modern analytical tools and methodologies
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Fundamental understanding of data analysis and reporting techniques
- Competency in Microsoft Excel or equivalent spreadsheet programs
- Basic familiarity with SQL is advantageous
- Experience using Power BI, Tableau, or other visualization software is a plus
- Knowledge of Python or R for analysis is beneficial but not mandatory
- Strong analytical abilities with keen attention to detail
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Motivation to acquire new analytical methods and technologies
- Preferred educational background includes Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or related disciplines
