Job description
Role Summary
The Enterprise Solutions Architect is a senior-level professional responsible for leading strategic solution design and presales activities focused on large-scale business transformation initiatives. They work closely with C-level executives to align technology strategies with business goals by crafting comprehensive enterprise solutions that encompass applications, integration, cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, AI, analytics, and digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with executive stakeholders such as CIOs, CTOs, and business leaders to understand strategic objectives, transformation needs, and operational challenges.
- Establish trusted advisor relationships, delivering strategic counsel on digital transformation programs.
- Facilitate executive workshops, architecture assessments, and business transformation engagements to translate complex challenges into practical and scalable solutions.
- Develop and present strategic solution proposals and roadmaps to executives and board members.
- Lead the design and ownership of comprehensive enterprise solutions across multiple domains including cloud environments, cybersecurity, AI, data platforms, automation, IoT, DevSecOps, and managed services.
- Clearly communicate business value through metrics such as ROI, TCO optimization, operational efficiency, agility, and innovation impact.
- Support strategic bidding processes, including RFP/RFI responses and positioning against competitors.
- Drive customer decision-making by employing consultative selling techniques, executive storytelling, and value-driven solutioning.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for cross-selling, upselling, and cultivating long-term strategic partnerships.
- Oversee solution governance ensuring alignment with customer expectations, contractual obligations, and delivery capabilities.
- Prepare Statements of Work, transition plans, transformation strategies, and high-level implementation roadmaps.
- Assess solution risks, dependencies, assumptions and devise mitigation approaches.
- Provide continuous advisory support during transition and delivery to guarantee the realization of intended outcomes and compliance with architectural standards.
- Ensure all solutions conform to organizational standards, security policies, compliance rules, and financial objectives.
- Lead pursuit teams in solution development for alignment with company sales strategy and client needs, guiding solution design workshops for cohesive business and technical alignment.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- A minimum of 15 years’ experience in business solutions, technical consulting, or sales solutions roles.
- Proven expertise managing substantial technology industry accounts and solution/product portfolios.
- Demonstrated success in creating winning sales solutions and proposals related to technology products, services, and offerings.
- Strong technical knowledge in areas such as enterprise architecture, cloud transformation (AWS, Azure, GCP), hybrid cloud, infrastructure, AI & data platforms, digital transformation, application modernization, DevSecOps, cybersecurity architecture, IT service management, smart cities/digital government (preferred), and managed services.
