Enterprise / Solution Architect

About the Role

GlobalLogic has collaborated with a prominent financial services company undergoing significant architectural transformation. The Head of Architecture invites experienced Enterprise and Solution Architects to join their expanding team.

Successful candidates will be assigned to dedicated, technology-centric Tribes, allowing them to align with the Tribe that best fits their expertise. All Tribes report to the Head of Architecture, ensuring a cohesive vision and high visibility of architectural efforts.

Location and Work Arrangement

Applicants must reside in the UK and be open to traveling to Glasgow, which serves as the primary team hub.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle design, documentation, and management of intricate solution architectures within the selected Tribe.
• Facilitate communication across multiple Tribes and business stakeholders by translating complex technical concepts into clear terms to ensure alignment and secure commitment.
• Integrate Agile methodologies into daily workflows, collaborating closely with product owners and engineering teams to resolve dependencies.
• Maintain architecture governance ensuring compliance with organizational standards and industry best practices, leveraging knowledge of TOGAF or equivalent frameworks.

Candidate Requirements

• Established experience as an Enterprise or Solution Architect with a proven track record.
• Adopt a technology-neutral mindset, selecting the optimum tools without bias toward specific technology stacks or cloud providers.
• Experience in regulated environments, preferably within financial services, though not mandatory.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to effectively engage diverse stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience working in Agile settings, familiarity with Jira is advantageous.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or equivalent methodologies.
