Enterprise Risk Manager

About the Role

Join Capco in Edinburgh as an Enterprise Risk Manager within the Corporate Services practice. This permanent position involves advancing Capco's global Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework and ensuring comprehensive risk oversight across the organisation. You will play a vital role in embedding risk management into strategy and operations while supporting the firm's growth across multiple geographies and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide and regional Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs), ensuring clear articulation and consistent rating of risks, thorough control evaluations, and diligent tracking of mitigation actions to completion.
• Drive the global implementation and ongoing development of the ERM framework, including scenario planning and monitoring emerging risks such as geopolitical, regulatory, cybersecurity, AI-related, and supply chain risks.
• Develop and deploy a control-testing framework targeting high-risk processes such as Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABAC), and support additional internal audits within the Enterprise Risk function.
• Manage key governance and compliance duties, including annual policy reviews, oversight of the Policy Committee, handling conflicts of interest and gift registries, as well as enforcing mandatory compliance training.
• Collaborate with Procurement and business leaders to enhance third-party risk management activities such as due diligence, continuous monitoring, remediation plans, supplier oversight, and reporting findings to senior leadership.

Candidate Profile

• You should have between 5 to 10 years of experience spanning risk management, compliance, governance, and/or audit functions.
• Proven ability to steer complex projects with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams is essential.
• Excellent communication skills are required to explain intricate risk topics clearly and effectively.
• Strong collaboration abilities to engage stakeholders at various regional and functional levels.
• Strategic thinking and commercial insight gained from working within professional services or similar sectors.

Desirable Qualifications

• Professional risk certifications such as those from the Institute of Risk Management are advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platforms, especially OneTrust, is a plus.
