About the Role

In this pivotal strategic position, you will significantly influence the evolution of the IT landscape at 1&1. You will devise architectural and modernization plans while guiding architects and software developers to implement a contemporary IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute long-term strategic architecture plans aligning with the company's IT environment.
• Evaluate current system architecture to pinpoint areas for improvement.
• Collaborate closely with business units to grasp business objectives and to create technology solutions supporting these aims.
• Develop integration strategies for introducing new technologies and systems.
• Ensure adherence to architecture best practices and standards.
• Monitor technology trends and assess their implications for enterprise architecture.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or an equivalent qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in Enterprise Architecture and software development.
• Strong expertise in formulating architecture concepts and standards.
• Proven track record implementing architectural solutions within complex corporate environments.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Preferably hold certifications in Enterprise Architecture such as TOGAF.
• Excellent proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken.
