About The Role

The Enterprise Architect position, based within the Digital Business Team at our Tauranga office, involves developing, managing, and upkeeping the enterprise architecture across business, information, application, and technology sectors to ensure technology investments align with the company’s strategic plans and Target Operating Model.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and update enterprise architecture roadmaps and blueprints using designated documentation platforms.
- Oversee the entire technology environment rather than focusing on individual projects or programs.
- Stay informed about technological advancements, especially in AI, to support well-informed strategic decisions.
- Establish architectural guidelines, standards, and reference structures and oversee their organizational adoption.
- Provide governance and assurance on solution design as necessary.
- Assist in technology evaluation and selection to maintain a streamlined and coherent technology landscape.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Minimum of eight years' professional experience, including enterprise architecture roles in organizations of comparable size.
- Strong strategic mindset coupled with innovation, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the software development lifecycle with particular expertise in Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with Machine Learning and Generative AI technologies is advantageous.
- Good commercial and business insight.
- Excellent influencing abilities and relationship management skills.
- Effective communication skills suitable for all organizational levels.
- Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
- Proven track record in defining and governing enterprise-wide architectures and roadmaps to achieve objectives.
