Job description

Company Overview

Chaos is a globally recognized software company specializing in advanced visualization and design technologies. With over two decades of innovation, Chaos serves diverse industries such as architecture, design, media, entertainment, and product e-commerce, supporting creative professionals like architects, VFX artists, and designers in optimizing workflows and crafting immersive projects. Headquartered in Karlsruhe, Germany, Chaos operates worldwide with offices in 11 cities and has expanded through mergers and acquisitions, strengthening its expertise and offerings.

Position Overview

This role, based in the UK with flexible remote work options, is dedicated to expanding revenue within a specific portfolio of high-potential enterprise accounts in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) sector. The Enterprise Account Manager will focus on upselling, cross-selling, and boosting solution adoption while cultivating long-lasting relationships with senior clients. Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Sales and working within the global sales team, the role demands a strategic, commercially minded professional adept at navigating complex multi-stakeholder environments to achieve Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the comprehensive growth strategy for a selected portfolio of AEC enterprise accounts with significant untapped potential.
  • Plan and execute initiatives to maximize ARR via strategic upselling, cross-selling, and enhanced adoption of Chaos solutions.
  • Establish and deepen relationships with senior-level stakeholders worldwide, aligning offerings with their core business goals and strategic directions.
  • Develop and deliver persuasive business value and ROI presentations to justify investment in Chaos products, emphasizing their impact on AEC workflows.
  • Negotiate and finalize complex, multi-year global expansion agreements, skillfully handling diverse procurement and legal frameworks characteristic of large AEC companies.
  • Identify opportunities for transformative workflow improvements within client organizations, positioning Chaos as an essential partner.
  • Maintain a healthy, long-term sales pipeline for assigned accounts, ensuring accurate forecasting for expansion revenues.
  • Stay informed of global AEC industry trends, digital transformation movements, competitor activities, and client innovation priorities to proactively uncover growth opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum five years of experience in enterprise sales, strategic account management, or business development within the AEC field or related technology sectors.
  • Proven success in surpassing revenue goals in complex, multi-stakeholder sales environments with verifiable outcomes.
  • Extensive experience managing and expanding sizable enterprise account portfolios, demonstrating clear results in upselling and cross-selling over extended sales cycles.
  • Strong knowledge of AEC workflows and digital visualization technologies, including BIM, real-time rendering, and SaaS licensing structures.
  • Capability to negotiate and close multilayered, multi-year enterprise contracts, supported by executive-level business case development showing total cost of ownership (TCO) and return on investment (ROI).

Required Skills

  • Expertise in managing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals with commercial acumen and disciplined sales cycle management to consistently close deals.
  • Able to establish trusted relationships with C-level and senior executives, engaging through business strategy rather than technical features.
  • Skilled in designing detailed account plans and pipeline strategies based on data and account insights to optimize resource allocation and broaden coverage.
  • Proactive in generating commercial momentum by identifying new expansion opportunities and building a robust sales pipeline.
  • Employs intellectual curiosity and critical thinking to understand clients’ fundamental business challenges and develop compelling solutions.
  • Communicates complex technical benefits in a way that resonates with both technical users and executive decision-makers.
  • Operates independently with strong self-management skills to effectively oversee territory, pipeline, and relationships.
  • Analyzes sales and market data accurately to prioritize activities and refine forecasting.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.

Additional Information

This role requires candidates to hold valid work or residence permits for the UK. The company values teamwork, reliability, and curiosity for continuous improvement. Applications are confidential, and only candidates shortlisted will be contacted.
