Job description
Role Overview
The Enterprise Account Manager is tasked with cultivating and closing deals with both new and established large enterprise clients. The role emphasizes engagement with the most significant and strategic named accounts within the designated territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet or surpass personal and team revenue objectives within the enterprise market segment.
- Expand the sales pipeline by collaborating with Inside Sales, Systems Engineers, and Channel & Alliance partners.
- Engage in customer-facing enterprise sales activities alongside Channel and Alliance Partners.
- Plan, coordinate, and participate in marketing initiatives targeting enterprise named accounts.
- Maintain timely and accurate forecasting and account/opportunity data in the CRM system (Salesforce).
- Demonstrate proactivity and initiative in building executive relationships, clearly communicating Veeam’s solutions and value proposition to generate demand and close sales.
- Develop a comprehensive sales pipeline focusing on short-, medium-, and long-term revenue opportunities within assigned accounts, aiming for quarterly revenue generation.
- Establish and execute a sales strategy that drives demand and revenue growth, managing a team of resources accordingly.
- Prioritize and evaluate current and prospective opportunities in coordination with customers, Veeam teams, and the Channel Partner ecosystem.
- Collaborate with strategic alliance partners to foster mutually profitable revenue opportunities.
- Implement territory, account, and opportunity plans effectively to maximize revenue.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated success in acquiring large enterprise customers is highly preferred.
- Comfortable establishing and maintaining executive-level (C-Level) relationships with clients.
- Experience with technologies including Infrastructure, Software, Virtualization platforms, Cloud, Storage, and Data Protection.
- At least 8 years of direct enterprise sales experience.
- Proficient in value and solution selling with a deep understanding of technological trends affecting enterprise clients.
- Skilled in prospecting, relationship development, and sales execution.
- Knowledgeable in value-based and solution-selling methodologies.
- Energetic, self-motivated, adaptable to a fast-changing environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Team-oriented with leadership skills to leverage extended teams for successful sales initiatives.
