Job description
About Wayflyer
Wayflyer is redefining business financing by providing quick, technology-driven capital solutions tailored for fast-growing small businesses. Unlike traditional lenders that offer slow and restrictive options, Wayflyer evaluates companies rapidly and delivers financing offers aligned with their expansion goals, with funds disbursed in as little as 24 hours. Having invested over $6 billion globally and supported by Tier 1 banks such as J.P. Morgan, Wayflyer operates from multiple international offices including London and Dublin.
Role Overview and Responsibilities
As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing the entire sales process—from independently sourcing leads to negotiating and closing deals with prominent consumer brands. You will conduct detailed discovery sessions using the MEDDPICC sales methodology, collaborate closely with the underwriting team to ensure speed and accuracy, and craft agreements that serve both client and company interests. Though you will be supported by a dedicated Business Development Representative (BDR), proactive pipeline building is expected to succeed. High performers achieve targets of approximately 200%.
Career Progression
Successful account executives can develop expertise within emerging verticals or progress into leadership roles as Wayflyer scales. The company emphasizes internal promotion and continuously launches new products and markets, offering ample opportunities for growth.
Candidate Profile
Ideal applicants bring prior full sales cycle experience, including independently building pipelines and driving deals within SaaS or FinTech sectors, ideally with outbound BDR/SDR experience. You demonstrate resilience by learning from setbacks, maintain motivation in ambiguous scenarios, and persistently advance negotiations despite objections. A strong passion for eCommerce and small business development is essential, as is familiarity with MEDDPICC. Startup or scale-up experience is advantageous due to the fast-paced and evolving environment.
Location and Work Arrangement
This position is based in Dublin or London, with a hybrid working schedule requiring 3-4 days per week onsite.
Benefits and Perks
- Twenty-five days of annual leave plus public holidays
- Private healthcare coverage
- Life insurance
- Pension scheme
- Equity ownership opportunities
- Comprehensive parental leave for all caregivers
- Sixty days annually to work remotely from any location worldwide
