Role Summary
The Enterprise Account Executive will join Decagon’s Go-To-Market Sales team, playing a critical role in managing the full sales cycle with enterprise clients. This position requires a proactive, self-driven individual who is passionate about driving sales growth, influencing product roadmap through client feedback, and shaping the company’s sales strategy. The role is based in the Sydney office as Decagon operates fully in person.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire sales process for large enterprise accounts, starting with self-initiated lead generation and qualification, through negotiation, closing, and contract renewals.
- Develop a robust sales pipeline by proactively targeting Ideal Customer Profiles via value-based outreach.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Solutions Engineering, Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to guarantee customer satisfaction.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with influential stakeholders, including C-suite executives, to ensure long-lasting partnerships with significant ROI.
- Utilize support from internal executive leadership to accelerate deal closures and engage top decision-makers at client organizations.
- Contribute to the refinement of Decagon’s go-to-market approach and influence engagement with strategic accounts.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 4 years of successful experience as an Account Executive with a history of consistently high achievement.
- Proficient in managing complex solution sales and closing deals valued in the seven-figure range.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding pipeline generation goals for new business acquisition.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in selling AI or customer support/experience software products.
- Background as an early sales team member at a rapidly growing startup environment.
