Job description
About Tekst and Our Vision
Tekst recently secured $13.5 million in Series A funding aimed at redefining Process Intelligence tailored for the Agentic era. We focus on creating a contextual platform enabling AI agents to seamlessly operate at scale across crucial back-office processes. Our clientele encompasses major enterprises such as Daikin, Colruyt, Mitsubishi, and Nokia, emphasizing our commitment to delivering authentic, impactful automation beyond AI buzzwords.
Role Overview
As an Enterprise Account Executive, your main mission will be to acquire new clients and accelerate Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) growth within the UK territory, which is expanding rapidly. This role requires individual ownership of deals and closures without team management responsibilities. Growth is achieved by increasing your territory reach, deal size, and potentially participating in international markets.
Sales cycles average around six months, with deals generally having an Annual Contract Value (ACV) exceeding €50,000. You'll engage multiple decision-makers, including C-level stakeholders. This position seeks a high-achieving sales professional with an entrepreneurial spirit ready to influence corporate sales strategy through performance.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop fresh business opportunities via targeted prospecting and cultivating relationships, working alongside the Business Development Representative team to sustain a robust sales pipeline.
- Manage the entire sales process for complex enterprise deals, typically over six months, closing contracts with ACV above €50,000 by negotiating with senior executives.
- Demonstrate Tekst's business value through tailored presentations that address specific use cases to VPs and C-suite executives.
- Implement the MEDDIC sales methodology to qualify prospects, expedite deals, and maintain precise pipeline forecasts.
- Collaborate with Customer Success and Solutions Engineering teams to ensure client satisfaction and uncover opportunities for account expansion.
What You Receive
- A competitive fixed salary paired with unlimited commission structured as a percentage of the ARR you secure; higher-value deals correlate with greater compensation.
- The chance to join during a high-growth phase: our ARR has recently quadrupled, marking the beginning of the Agentic era.
- Work with a reputable, globally trusted product, valued by industry leaders including Mitsubishi and Nokia.
- An individual contributor role providing career growth opportunities through larger deals, extended territories, and potential international responsibilities.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of three years’ experience selling enterprise software or SaaS solutions, with a proven history of closing deals of ACV greater than €50,000 on sales cycles of four to six months or longer.
- Proficient in applying the MEDDIC or comparable enterprise sales frameworks.
- Familiarity and experience operating within the UK or Irish markets.
- Adaptability and resourcefulness typical of startup environments, capable of multitasking and adjusting swiftly to dynamic situations.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a pipeline using sales technologies that enhance deal progression.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of clarifying complex AI concepts for skeptical stakeholders.
Location
The preferred candidate will be based in the UK, Ireland, or Belgium to support sales activities in the UK market.
