English ↔ Arabic Translator (On-site)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled English ↔ Arabic translator with proven professional experience to join our team on-site in Riyadh. The role requires a meticulous individual committed to producing highly accurate, consistent, and culturally appropriate translations, particularly focusing on HSE and various technical and professional documents.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate HSE and other specialized documents accurately and consistently between English and Arabic while considering cultural nuance.
• Edit, review, and proofread translated materials to maintain linguistic quality and meet client guidelines.
• Ensure consistent terminology usage throughout multiple translation projects.
• Work collaboratively with project teams to meet deadlines, delivering high-standard translation outputs.

Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree preferably in Translation; candidates with degrees in English Language will be considered only if they have substantial professional experience in translation.
• Currently residing in Riyadh.
• Demonstrated professional experience in English-Arabic translation.
• Strong command of written and spoken Arabic and English.
• Exceptional attention to detail, precision, and commitment to quality.
• Excellent proofreading and editing capabilities.
• Familiarity with Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools such as SDL Trados Studio, memoQ, Smartcat, or Wordfast is an advantage.
• Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities and multiple projects, able to meet tight deadlines.
