About the Role
BVSR Constructions is seeking a proficient Planning Engineer to join their Infrastructure Projects team at the Corporate Office in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. Candidates should hold a B.Tech or B.E. degree in Civil Engineering and bring at least 8 years of relevant experience in infrastructure projects such as Roads, Irrigation, and Industrial/Urban Infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project plans and construction schedules utilizing Primavera P6 and MS Project software.
- Establish project baselines, create Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and plan resource allocation effectively.
- Collaborate closely with Design, Engineering, Procurement, and Execution departments to ensure seamless project progress.
- Analyze and oversee construction drawings, managing drawing updates and revisions.
- Track project milestones, identify any deviations from schedules, and provide corrective feedback.
- Generate regular Daily, Weekly, and Monthly progress reports for stakeholders.
- Coordinate with multiple project teams to ensure milestones are achieved on time.
- Oversee cost control measures, productivity assessments, and efficient resource utilization.
- Create comprehensive dashboards and Management Information System (MIS) reports for management review.
- Ensure adherence to contract specifications, quality standards, and project deadlines.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project for scheduling and planning.
- Experience in IPC billing processes and client coordination.
- Strong skills in project cost control, budget monitoring, and billing management.
- Capability in reviewing and coordinating construction drawings.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel to analyze data and generate reports.
Additional Information
Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary starting from INR 60,000, negotiable depending on skills, experience, and interview outcomes. Male candidates are preferred due to frequent site visits associated with the role.
