Role Overview

As Jade embarks on a new phase of growth and transformation, we are investing in our products, platforms, people, and customer service globally. We seek an Engineering Lead to join our Application Engineering team—someone who blends strong technical skills with creativity, curiosity, and a passion for leading teams to deliver exceptional solutions.

The Engineering Lead will play an essential role in advancing technology and cultivating team growth. Reporting to the Senior Delivery Manager, you will mentor, coach, and provide technical guidance to a skilled software engineering team, fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment.

This role demands a hands-on leader who equally balances people management with direct technical involvement. You will influence engineering practices, steer technical direction, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software across various projects and client engagements. Advocating engineering excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation, you will also focus on helping your team develop and succeed.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and nurture a team of skilled engineers through ongoing coaching, mentoring, and development discussions.
• Provide technical leadership in design, architecture, and software delivery, guiding the team to develop robust, effective solutions.
• Remain actively engaged in technical problem-solving and assist with complex delivery challenges when necessary.
• Promote best engineering practices covering quality assurance, automation, security, and ongoing process enhancements.
• Collaborate extensively with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to achieve excellent project outcomes.
• Create and sustain a positive, high-achieving team culture that enables individuals to perform their best work.

Technologies Utilized

• .Net and C# for backend development
• Front-end frameworks like React or similar technologies
• Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines

• Proven experience as a software engineering leader with a passion for developing both people and technology.
• Expertise in software design, system architecture, and delivering top-quality software tools.
• Strong background working in Agile environments and leading teams to successful project delivery.
• A leadership style centered on coaching and fostering growth within teams.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building meaningful relationships with technical and business stakeholders.
• A mindset dedicated to continuous improvement and adoption of modern engineering methodologies.

Desirable skills include familiarity with cloud platforms and Microsoft technology stacks.
