Engineering Manager (Remote)

Role Summary

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the development of advanced large language models through supervised fine-tuning and reinforcement learning from human feedback. This is a full-time remote position offering a competitive salary commensurate with experience.

Key Duties

• Manage and lead a technical team of over 20 developers skilled in Python, JavaScript, Java, and other programming languages to deliver projects efficiently.
• Work closely with researcher clients to ensure their requirements and expectations are met satisfactorily.
• Implement stringent quality control and review procedures for datasets to maintain high standards.
• Supervise projects from their inception to stable completion, assuming full accountability for delivery outcomes.
• Continuously seek and apply improvements to enhance code quality within the team.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in software engineering, including at least 3 years in engineering management roles.
• Proven capability in managing large technical teams focused on results and timely delivery.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, and Java.
• Hands-on technical involvement with skill to identify and solve quality-related software issues.
• Strong leadership qualities and ability to inspire and motivate personnel effectively.
