Role Overview

This fully remote position based in India entails innovating, architecting, and delivering complex systems that directly impact critical business goals. You will mentor team members extensively, implementing regular feedback and performance evaluations to foster career growth. Additionally, you'll establish best practices and identify continuous improvement opportunities in the product development lifecycle.

Experience and Qualifications

• 8 to 12 years of experience in reputable product companies, preferably with exposure to product startups.
• Strong expertise in scalable web back-end, streaming, full stack development, and managing production and performance challenges across multiple platform technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of architectures supporting highly scalable and available systems.
• Proficiency with transactional, large-scale relational, and complex web or desktop systems.
• Experience in hiring and developing high-caliber engineering teams and scaling organizations, with startup experience being highly desirable.
• Sound understanding of business workflows and applying technology to simplify and optimize these processes.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Hands-on experience designing, developing, and scaling complex systems horizontally and vertically.
• Passion for contributing to the growth of innovative product startups.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop innovative, scalable, reliable, and available application architectures that resolve critical and complex challenges.
• Establish best practices and champion continuous improvements in the product development lifecycle.
• Formulate system and product growth roadmaps, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
• Collaborate with designers, business analysts, and product managers to provide delivery timelines and estimates within an Agile framework.
• Provide clear career progression plans for team members through deep and frequent mentorship.
• Conduct regular performance assessments, promote feedback sharing, and cultivate a constructive evaluation culture.
