Role Overview

We seek a seasoned engineering leader to helm our Mobile team focusing on both iOS and Android platforms. The successful candidate will steer and expand the mobile engineering team, define the technological roadmap, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful features to millions globally. A key focus is integrating AI tools across development workflows to enhance efficiency and output quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide and cultivate a team of mobile engineers, fostering ownership and accountability to meet project goals.
• Provide direct technical leadership on mobile development practices, architectural design, and engineering standards.
• Lead the adoption and integration of AI-driven tools and processes, from automated code generation and reviews to testing and incident management, aiming to elevate delivery quality and speed.
• Oversee the full lifecycle delivery of mobile features, ensuring alignment with timelines, quality standards, and business priorities.
• Partner closely with Product Managers, Designers, Backend Engineers, and other stakeholders for goal alignment and smooth execution.
• Act as the principal technical authority on complex mobile issues, ensuring applications remain robust and scalable.

Required Qualifications

• Over eight years of experience in mobile engineering, with at least three years in leadership or management roles.
• Demonstrated capability to lead and nurture engineering teams, paired with strong decision-making skills and high initiative.
• Deep technical proficiency in iOS or Android ecosystems, with comprehensive knowledge of mobile development environments.
• Proven experience incorporating AI technologies into engineering workflows to enhance team productivity and product quality.
• Excellent communication abilities enabling collaboration across diverse functional teams and organizational levels.
• Ability to effectively operate in ambiguous, fast-paced contexts and make informed technical and product decisions.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience delivering AI-powered features within mobile applications, including personalization, intelligent search, or on-device inference.
• Background in fintech, cryptocurrency, or other large-scale consumer app sectors.
• Knowledge of optimizing mobile application performance at scale.
